This one, down below. The Hatter and his tea. Yep. It was just calling my name and it had to be done. The exchange rate from the USA dollar to the English pound is not too bad at the moment, so I went for it. All in a good cause right? Read on to find out….
Anyone who knows me also knows that I have a passion for all things Alice in Wonderland and I really love the artworks of Chris Riddell.
Chris Riddell, OBE (/rɪdˈɛl/rid-EL) (born 13 April 1962) is a British illustrator and occasional writer of children’s books and a political cartoonist for the Observer. He has won three Kate Greenaway Medals, the British librarians’ annual award for the best-illustrated children’s book, and two of his works were commended runners-up, a distinction dropped after 2002. Books that he wrote or illustrated have won three Nestlé Smarties Book Prizes and have been silver or bronze runners-up four times. On 9 June 2015 he was appointed the UK Children’s Laureate.
He is currently raising funds for his daughter who is aiding a clean water charity.

I would really have loved this one, but it sold out within minutes [as do most of his artworks]
I’ve got a couple of prints, but this is the first original artwork of his, other than those he draws in his signed books. I’m super excited! How could I resist? Tea, the Hatter and Chris Riddell. All it would need is a dose of Terry Pratchett and I would be in heaven.
If you like his work and want to help a good project, follow the links, but hurry!
